Checkpointr Account Deletion

Request deletion of your Checkpointr account.

Use this page if you want Checkpointr to delete your app account and the data associated with that account. This page is intended for Google Play store listing compliance and for users who no longer have access to the app.

How to request account deletion

If you cannot use the in-app flow, send a request to support@checkpointr.com using the button above.

  • Include your Checkpointr username and the email address connected to your account.
  • If you want your public comments and reviews removed rather than anonymized, say so clearly in the request.
  • We may ask you to verify account ownership before we process the request.
  • After verification, we will start the deletion flow as soon as reasonably possible.

What is deleted when your account is deleted

  • Your Checkpointr app account and authentication record.
  • Private account data associated with your account, including profile records, checkpoints, notifications, friend-request records, favorites, likes, watchlist-type records, drafts, activity records, and uploaded media associated with the account deletion flow.
  • Account-linked images and other uploaded files stored for your use in Checkpointr.
  • Depending on your request, public comments and reviews may either be deleted or anonymized as deleted content.

What may be retained

  • Limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or enforcement of platform rules.
  • Reserved markers for your deleted email address or username, where needed to prevent abuse or immediate re-registration of a deleted identity.
  • Data that cannot be immediately removed from backups may remain until routine backup expiration, after which it is overwritten or expires according to normal retention cycles.
